Located in the Shoalhaven, the Industry 4.0 Hub is a collaborative environment open to students, industry and entrepreneurs. The Hub is designed to assist Australian industry reap the benefits of cutting-edge advanced automation and Industry 4.0 technologies. Facilities include cobots, welding equipment, virtual reality training, 3D scanning, additive manufacturing and more.

Evan Brown, the Hub’s Research Engineer, discusses the advantages of using Verbotics Weld for their programming:

Verbotics’ software allows us to rapidly create robot welding programs. This streamlines our research and enables us to easily demonstrate robotic welding for our industrial partners.

Universal Robots are the market leader in collaborative robots (cobots), which allow closer human-robot interaction than traditional industrial robots. Combining the UR’s collaborative abilities with Verbotics’ automated offline programming software allows for incredibly easy and efficient low-volume and high-mix production.
