We’ve just released a new version of our Verbotics Weld software with Doosan support and many
other improvements. You can download the latest release here or by
checking for updates within Weld.
Verbotics Weld can now generate Doosan Robot Language (DRL) files. This expands our cobot range to
support both Universal Robots and Doosan. You can see our
earlier blog post with a testing video including
touch sensing to see it in action.
Another big improvement is a new part position editor. Now you can relocate the origin of parts, and
click to snap your part position. For example, you can now click on a bolt hole of center of a faceplate
to easily position parts within your project.
A final item of note is a much improved calibration editor. It’s much quicker and easier to pick calibration
points, and there’s now a tooltip telling you why a certain point can’t be used as a sense point.
Other Improvements
Scaling on Hi-DPI screens has been improved.
Allow custom units for weld speed (used for welding speed and wire feed speed).
Add show tool only option to robot display menu.
Allow copying parts in patterns.
Make arc start / end / weave boxes automatically expand.
Add error if planning 2D laser without any profiles.
Make loop welds have the start / end point and a consistent location.
