We’ve published a new version of Verbotics Weld with support for OTC Daihen and Reis robots, along
with a number of other improvements. You can download the latest release here
or by checking for updates within Weld (under Help > Check for Updates).
Additional Robot Support
The main new feature for this release is support for OTC Daihen and Reis robots. We’re
pleased to have worked with our partners at Autoline to add support for OTC robots to Verbotics Weld.
Other Changes
If a weld is inaccessible, but would be accessible if it’s reversed, you can now do this
automatically in the “Check Accessibility” dialog.
Add the ability to split at the midpoint of corners when identifying welds. This is particularly
useful for RHS sections. where you want to split the weld into 4.
Verbotics now defaults to the “Flat (PA)” welding position.
When planning, if you cancel part-way through, keep the best result so far rather than discarding
it.
Improve importing and exporting of CSVs and allow exporting parts as STL.
The rotation calculator now explicitly shows brand-specific rotation.
Allow searching by part or assembly name in the Workspace area.
Several usability and performance improvements, as well as a number of bug fixes.
Code Generation Changes
In the KUKA generator dialog, allow entering the Job Mode / Param Set IDs.
In the ABB generator dialog, allow disabling export of TPWrite statements.
When generating ABB code, only export weld settings that are used in the welding program.
ABB error handling is now output for passes.
Add support for older FANUC controllers which only support 8 character program names.
