Compared to other offline programming, Verbotics leads in terms of level of programming automation and ease of use. Our software is specifically focussed on the welding result you want to achieve, and automates the entire robot programming process from CAD to path. Verbotics does not require any external hardware and runs fully offline, so no network connection is needed. There are no limits on users, welds, or programs during the license period.

Our license is an annual subscription that allows our users to generate robot code for the duration of the license period. Subscriptions start from AUD$7,000 for a single robot without external axes.
There is a one-time setup fee per workcell, plus optional support packages available.
No. You can generate unlimited welds and programs during the license period.
The robot license is tied to the robotic cell, not a specific computer. Any number of users can use it to generate robot code.
We offer a free trial to test Verbotics Weld for simulation purposes. Our trial has most of the functionality of our licensed version other than code generation capability. We suggest you check out our tutorials and documentation to help get you started.
Any generated programs will still be able to be used after your license expires, but you will no longer be able to generate new programs from Verbotics. It should be noted that any future amendments to the cell equipment, or distances, may affect the program's performance.
Workcells are built using our Cell Editor software. We typically build workcells during the onboarding phase. Please contact us if you would like us to build your workcell for testing purposes.
Onboarding typically takes 2–4 weeks. It includes:
Your license term only starts once onboarding is complete.
As part of our support packages, users are allowed a number of workcell updates per year. This can be useful if, for example, users require a new torch for better weld accessibility, they might want to move equipment or guarding around the cell, they may update robot settings, etc. If you do not have a support package, we charge an hourly rate for workcell updates.
Yes, we have another software available for integrator partners called Cell Editor, which allows partners to build cells independently as a sales tool, or to offer setup and support directly to their end users.
Verbotics supports multiple robots in a single workcell. Each robot has an automatically calculated working area, and we will insert synchronisation commands to avoid potential collisions, or to move shared external axes.
We do not have a specified limit. For very complex or unusual mechanisms, please get in contact with us to discuss your application.
We support ABB, Doosan, Elite, FANUC, Kawasaki, KUKA, OTC, Panasonic, Reis, Universal Robots and Yaskawa Motoman. Please note not all robots support all features.

Verbotics Weld can automatically generate sensing actions for path finding. This can be used to avoid manually modifying a program generated by Verbotics Weld. There are also advanced options to group sensing for multiple welds, sense once to ‘master’ a program*, or apply a manual offset to a weld depending on your requirements.
*Mastering is not supported by all robots.
Verbotics Weld imports CAD data from STEP files (AP203 and AP214). You can also import meshes in various formats for collision purposes only.
In Verbotics you are able to import your CAD with the jig and all clamps and fixtures included, and we will automatically consider these for collision avoidance.
Yes, we support a number of path finding techniques including touch sensing with the wire and nozzle, force sensing with the nozzle, as well as point (1D) and profile (2D) lasers.
Yes, we support seam tracking using through-arc tracking, or optical tracking solutions.
Verbotics generates code in the native language of your robot brand, and looks similar to a program generated on the teach pendant directly. We have various translator options to change the complexity of the code output to suit your needs.
You can transfer the program via USB to your robot controller or, if available, upload directly using FTP over a network.
Verbotics Weld is designed for arc welding. Our toolpath planning technology can be applied to other processes in some cases, for more details please contact us. Verbotics Weld has been successfully applied to grinding, polishing, and cutting applications.
